Remote Work Calculator is a simple browser extension that shows you the true cost of your daily commute. Enter your round-trip commute time and working days per week to instantly see how many hours you lose per week, month, year, and decade.
It then compares that time to real-world achievements — like earning a Master's degree, travelling to the Moon, learning a new language, or reading 200 books.
How to use
- Click the Remote Work Calculator icon in your browser toolbar
- Adjust the daily round-trip commute time using the slider or type a value
- Set your working days per week
- View your time lost and real-world comparisons instantly
