How to Brand & Customize your Flat

This article assumes that you have already created a flat beforehand and want to customize it now. If you haven't yet, click here to learn on how to create a flat.

There are a number of exciting things that you can customize in your flat. Most of them are split between changing the rooms and setting up logos and images that fit your use case the best.

Adding & Managing Rooms

A room is a building block of the flat. There are currently over 20 different types of rooms that are available for you to select from. You can add a combination of them to your flat to create a unique experience for the participants of your meeting or your team members.

Adding a new room

After entering your flat, click on Admin ➜ Add New Room. A modal window will appear where you can select the room that you want to add.

Removing a room

After entering your flat, click on Admin ➜ Manage Rooms. A modal window will appear where you will see the list of the rooms that you currently have in your flat. Click on the trashbin icon to remove any of them. The change will be applied immediatelly and all of the guests that are currently in the room will be disconnected.

Updating name, tagline and the URL

After entering your flat, click on Admin ➜ Name & URL. A modal window will appear where you can change the name, tagline and the URL of your flat.

Please mind that if you change the URL of your flat, the previous one won't be active anymore. If you have alredy sent the previous URL to your guests you will need to do it again. Also remember to update it in any services that you have connected and calendar invites that you sent already.
