How to Run an Event on Flat.social
From a blank flat to doors open, with the parts most organizers forget.
- 1Create the flat and its rooms
One Open Spatial room for mingling, a Conference room for talks, and a Chat room for questions. Rooms hold up to 100 people; add more rooms for bigger crowds.
- 2Build the venue
Use build mode to place the stage, sponsor booths with logos, signposts with 3D text, and a few games for the breaks. Pick a lighting vibe that fits the mood.
- 3Decide who gets in
Open the flat to guests joining with just a name, or restrict it to registered email domains. Create a host role with moderation and build permissions for your team.
- 4Send the link
One link is the whole event. Paste it into the calendar invite, the email, and the event page. There is nothing for guests to install.
- 5Run the day
Post announcements when sessions start, keep a moderator in the lobby, and afterwards read the Insights dashboard to see who came and how long they stayed.
