How do I invite people to my flat?
To invite people, share the link to your flat or to a specific room. Flat.social has no separate invite system to manage. Whoever opens the link gets in, as long as your access settings allow them. Paste the link in a calendar invite, an email, or a chat message and you are done.
This keeps inviting simple: one link, sent however you already reach your people.
What does a flat link look like?
A flat link follows the pattern flat.social/{flat}/{room}. The first part is your flat, and the second part is a specific room. Share the flat link to drop people at your lobby, or a room link to send them straight inside.
How to share your flat

Your flat lives at flat.social/{flat}. Copy that address to send people to your lobby, where they pick a room.

To send someone straight into one room, use the room address: flat.social/{flat}/{room}.
- 3Share it anywhere
Paste the link into a calendar event, email, Slack, or your event page. Anyone who clicks it lands in your space.
- 4Check your access settings
Confirm your Access settings match who should get in. Open links let anyone join, while closed or domain-restricted flats turn others away.
What do guests see when they open your link?
A guest who opens your link lands in the browser with nothing to install. If you share the flat link, they see your lobby and pick a room. If you share a room link, they go straight in. Before joining, they set a name and avatar, then check their camera and mic.
