How do I delete my flat.social account?

Open Settings from your dashboard, go to the Danger zone, and select Delete account. flat.social shows what will be removed, you type DELETE to confirm, and your account and personal data are erased for good. It cannot be undone.

This is permanent

Deleting your account erases your account and personal data, and it cannot be undone. Any flat that only you are in is permanently deleted along with it.

What gets deleted?

When you delete your account, flat.social first checks your flats and sorts them into two groups:

  • Flats only you are in are permanently deleted with your account.
  • Flats you own that have other members block deletion. You have to hand them over or empty them first, so other people do not lose their space without warning.

The delete dialog lists both groups before you confirm, so there are no surprises.

Own flats with other members?
